Step 2 Make a voice recording of 'comma gets a cure'. If you have
more than one member:
blog member 1 : record para 1 and 2
blog member 2 : record para 3 and 4
Step 3 compare the two and write a few sentences about the similarities and differences between you and 'Thai 5'
address these issues in your paragraph:
how clear?
the speed
pauses after commas, periods
give examples of the following
pronounces 's' or drops
adds -ah- after s + consonant; ex. sahmoke for smoke
switches l + r;
add 'n' to word endings; ex litten for little
Step 4 read 'other influences on speech' for Thai5 and then
write a few sentences to describe what you have done over the years to make your spoken English the way it is
